Help Grow the Imagination Library in Greene County
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library brings the joy of reading to kids across our region by providing free, high-quality books to young learners from birth to age five. Currently, 600 children in Greene County receive monthly books, sparking creativity, curiosity, and a lifelong love of reading.
To keep the momentum going and reach even more young readers in Greene County, join us for the:
Once Upon a Time Fundraiser
Saturday, May 3rd, from 4–8 p.m.
at Fowler Pumpkin Patch (5060 N. Greene County Line Road).
This free, family-friendly event will be packed with fun, community spirit, and opportunities to support this incredible cause.
Here’s what’s in store:
- Silent auction
- The Huddle Grill & Chill Food Truck
- Live acoustic music by Rachael Lee James
- Bruster's Ice Cream
- Fun photo ops with a life-sized Dolly cut-out
- A visit from the Eastern Greene County Fire Territory's fire truck
- All funds raised will help provide books to Greene County kids!
While the Imagination Library provides monthly books free of charge to families, the cost for United Way of South Central Indiana to provide this program is $32 per child per year.
