March 2013 - On March 5, more than 100 individuals from the community weighed in with the South Central Housing Network on housing and homelessness issues.
The facilitated discussions covered a wide variety of topics, including prevention, a "housing first" approach, chronic homelessness, meeting the needs of families, access to services, affordable and supportive housing, and employment and education.
Additional in-depth community discussions will be on April 22-23, with summarized findings presented on April 26. All events will be held in the Council Chambers at Bloomington City Hall.
