August 2018 - This past year was one of transition for us. But that transition did not slow down our member agencies or us.
We recently released our annual Report to the Community taking a look back at the past year, looking forward to the coming year, and highlighting the impact of our donors.
As our executive director, EfratFeferman, notes in the report "In these pages, numbers and stories combine to help demonstrate the impact we make when we work together — when we Live United. Whether you Give, Advocate, or Volunteer (or maybe all three!), you play a key role in directly improving people’s lives and, for that, we are ever grateful."
A sampling of your impact...195 volunteers donated more than 9,500 hours, 1,773,681 meals and 187,714 bags of groceries provided to community members at risk of hunger in Monroe, Owen, and Greene counties, 27,000 hours of tutoring provided to 531 youth at United Way member agencies, and 87% of people in programs designed to help them recover from crisis and get back on their feet made measurable progress towards self-sufficiency.
