Catherine Blankensop Named Annual Giving & Community Impact Manager
August 14, 2023 – United Way of Monroe County welcomes Catherine Blankensop as the Annual Giving & Community Impact Manager. In this role, Blankensop will lead annual giving, fund drives at workplaces including IU, the Free Community Tax Service, and corporate engagement volunteer opportunities.
She brings five years of experience in nonprofit communications and fundraising, including four years working with United Way of Monroe County in a part-time capacity. Blankensop recently graduated with a Master of Public Affairs from the IU O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs. While a graduate student, she served as the IU United Way Campaign Coordinator for two years and spent a summer as the Development and Communications Intern for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Columbia Northwest in Portland, Oregon.
“Catherine has been a wonderful asset in her part-time roles with us over the last few years, and we are thrilled to have her join us full-time.
